Jasmine Rafael (they/she) is a queer Filipino artist living in New York City. After a decade of dancing professionally in LA for artists like Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Tori Kelly, and Jojo Siwa, they started studying acting for five rigorous years at the prestigious Ivana Chubbuck Studio, Studio 24/7, as well as receiving her Meisner Certification with Chelsea Lab. This preceded an expansion of their experience on set and on stage, eventually becoming a series regular on Book of Queer on Discovery +, and making appearances on  "The Prom" on Netflix, Will & Grace, East Los High, to name a few. Jasmine lead productions of "Gruesome Playground Injuries" as well as "Last Summer at Bluefish Cove", and starred in multiple national commercials (Facebook, Amazon, BEHR Paint, Novi). Their first Broadway Show led them to New York, as a part of the Original Broadway Cast of & Juliet, originating the role of Imogen in the US. Since leaving the show after three cherished years, Jasmine has landed a recurring role in Hulu's upcoming "Furious", and is starring this summer in Soho Rep and Intar's production of "The Potluck" at Playwrights Horizons, as "Moss". Jasmine also produces cabarets called "Pretty, Witty, Gay" with their partner, Cassidy Hamilton. Together, they have founded Skylar Studios.

Though acting is now their main focus, music is always going to be Jasmine's first passion, and they released their first single called "Something Real" on all places streaming in 2025. She also finds so much joy still as a dance educator, and has been for years (AMDA College, Millennium Dance Complex, Heidi Duckler Dance Theater). Jasmine's mission in life is to be a small part of the awakening of The Artist to their true power.
